Creamy Mac and Cheese

Creamy Mac and Cheese ? 


  • 1 lb of elbow macaroni
  • 3 Tsp of butter
  • 2 Tsp of flour
  • 2 Cups of milk
  • lots of shredded cheese, 3 cups maybe (didn’t measure ?)
  • 1 tsp of mustard
  • 1 tsp of red hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Follow the instructions on the box to cook macaroni, drain when done
  2. Melt butter over medium heat, sprinkle flour into pan and whisk till smooth
  3. Add milk and work out any lumps, let simmer for couple minutes till thicken
  4. Remove from heat, stir cheese into the mixture. Do not do this step over high heat as cheese will taste grainy
  5. Add mustard, hot sauce, salt and pepper
  6. Mix in macaroni and serve immediately
  7. Top with bacon ? bits if desired
