Creamy Mac and Cheese
Ingredients
- 1 lb of elbow macaroni
- 3 Tsp of butter
- 2 Tsp of flour
- 2 Cups of milk
- lots of shredded cheese, 3 cups maybe (didn’t measure ?)
- 1 tsp of mustard
- 1 tsp of red hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instruction
- Follow the instructions on the box to cook macaroni, drain when done
- Melt butter over medium heat, sprinkle flour into pan and whisk till smooth
- Add milk and work out any lumps, let simmer for couple minutes till thicken
- Remove from heat, stir cheese into the mixture. Do not do this step over high heat as cheese will taste grainy
- Add mustard, hot sauce, salt and pepper
- Mix in macaroni and serve immediately
- Top with bacon ? bits if desired
